About the Author

Steve Warren is a Life Purpose Mentor and founder of The Whitestone Project. He is the author of the fiction novels WICKED GREED and VOYAGE OVER THE EDGE and the non-fiction self-help books A LIFE OF PURPOSE, YOUR HIGHER SELF and THE WHITESTONE RETIREMENT GUIDE AND JOURNAL.. Steve was in the middle of a successful professional career when he experienced a major life meltdown that became the turning point for his personal transformation and life beliefs. Decades ago, he found a smooth white stone while walking along a mountain stream, a stone which he still carries today and became his daily reminder to live intentionally. That stone inspired The Whitestone Way, a philosophy and teaching approach where he shares his knowledge to bring more fulfilling and meaningful sense to our lives. Steve splits his time between the mountains of North Carolina and the beaches of Florida, where he writes and mentors retirees. In his free time he golfs, sails, photographs, and plays pickleball. He is committed to enjoying his retirement life to the fullest.
