Simba, an anxious and timid rescued greyhound, slipped his collar and escaped from his home on the 28th May, 2024. He spent 16 days missing in the forest of the Dandenong Ranges. His plight touched the hearts of local residents, the greyhound community here in Melbourne, and greyhound lovers around the world. Simba’s story is about the determination of a community, the dedication of a small group of heroes, and the love and devotion of his owner to find him, and bring him home.

What an incredible story. Obviously written from the heart & I can honestly say I needed tissues & also had a little giggle here & there. If any story should not only be published but made into a movie this is it! It would knock Marley & me out of the park! Not only that but also raise awareness of what wonderful pets these amazing creatures make.
