About the Book

A collection of 82 poems, Has Naught is first and foremost about finding that there's nothing left—nothing left to give, nothing left to be taken from you, nothing left of yourself, nothing left of who you once were, nothing left of who you hoped to me. Importantly, it's about wastelands born from fertile crescents. It's an end with no beginning to follow. There's no innocence left. Together, this poetry is the flow of emptiness that antecedes a drain's final gurgle.

About the Author

Emily M. Sujka holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from New York University. Her current work is in international relations as an ALM candidate at the Harvard Extension School. She is a writer by passion, not by trade, and has been published in various formats such as blogs, magazines, newspapers, and several Florida poetry anthologies. She’s traveled extensively, including to all seven continents, but will unabashedly and with abandon proclaim her love for New York City and Poland. She now lives in France and publishes regularly on her blog CafeAnywhere. net, covering cafes and the coffee industry globally.
