Shadow and Light is a love story between the author, Monica, and her dogs. Woven into the sweetness of life with her canine companions are earnest stories of loss, heartbreak, and change. This book captures how hard life is but how unbelievably beautiful it can be in the company of our most loyal companions: Our pets.

About the Author

Monica San Juan is a first-time author taking a risk in publishing her writing and being vulnerable for all the world to see. She grew up living with dogs as a mainstay in her home, with them bearing witness to her life. A creative at heart, she is a certified Theta Healer, Reiki Healer, and Transformational Life Coach. She currently lives in Metro Manila with her partner, Enrique, and their furchild, Shadow.
