DEPRESSION I find myself in this deep dark hole Of my mind I'm losing control My brain it's covered in a black cloud Just like a morticians shroud In normal situations I'm in a panic My stomach in a knot I'm feeling manic I want to run but my legs are like lead What's going on inside my head My tempers short I tend to snap I know I'm not right feeling crap Loved ones walking on thin eggshells knowing I'm still going through hell Exercise is my only funnel While I'm running in this tunnel Out in natures clean fresh air I feel I don't have a care My mind defogs it seems to clear The winning line it's getting near It's not a sprint the road is long I know I'm on a marathon.

About the Book
I started writing over 20 yrs ago. My memory takes me back to the first thoughts that I had when out walking my dogs through Fordell Estate. The sights and sounds of the surrounding woodland, the old trees and smells of nature. So THE BEAST OF FORDELL was created. I write about Health, Fiction, Life, Nature and political subjects. In fact , anything that comes into my mind I will try to create a poem about it. That is when I took up the pen, so to speak. I like to compartmentalise my writing which is then mixed in my books so there is no one genre
