Chapter One: Ascended Masters and Angels Who are the Ascended Masters? Humankind has had divine help ever since we appeared on earth. Some of that help came through great souls who took on a physical form to bring certain ideas and types of consciousness to our planet. They came (and are still coming) into every culture, part of huge waves of spiritual light sent to assist human evolution. Some of these beings Ascended at the end of their physical lifetime. The term Ascension refers to a unique spiritual attainment, which is the culmination of being in a physical body, on a planet. Those that have reached Ascension no longer feel the need to be born into a physical lifetime, having learned all that can be learned in a bodily form. Even though Ascended masters no longer animate a body, their consciousness remains accessible to humankind. They can communicate with us through dreams, as we lift our consciousness to the higher realms in meditation, or anytime that our mind becomes still enough to hear them. They are fully cognizant of the challenges of human life and from their own experience, each contributes a specific type of mastery that can help us succeed. The Profiles in this book introduce you to one hundred forty-seven masters, classified according to their correspondence in the Qabala, providing doorways where each being can be met in inner world experience. The Angelic Kingdom Members of the Angelic Kingdom extend complementary waves of divine help for human evolution alongside the Ascended masters.. The angelic kingdom includes a vast light network of divinely created beings that did not require a physical body to serve their spiritual function. Since their Creation, each has extended their spiritual gifts maximally and unconditionally to all humankind. There are many types of angels and collectively their sheer number is vaster than we might imagine. Some angels support the development of only one human life (thus have been called guardian angels), while others can work with large groups of individuals, simultaneously, as do the Masters. This book introduces twenty-one of the more familiar angels and archangels, also classified according to their Qabala correspondence, to understand their specific form of energy. While there are more Ascended masters in this book than angels, that does not imply that angels are less important. I am deeply grateful to experience the pure gifts of Light and Love that they extend to assist the greatest good of all life. As our consciousness expands into the Ascended realms, we will become aware of the angels working side by side with the Ascended masters and can ask for the support of those that can be most helpful with the matters in focus during a particular stage of our life. Finding a common language to describe spiritual Masters There are different terms used to describe the non-physical emissaries of divine help within each spiritual tradition. Some traditions refer to deities or demi-gods and goddesses. Others use terms such as avatar, Buddha, and Bodhisattva. Human language can either provoke further divisions and controversies, or we can look for what unites us. To present a single reference that can be used by practitioners of different traditions I will use the term Ascended master to refer to a being who gained enlightenment through a physical lifetime on earth and remains accessible on the higher realms to assist humankind, and the term angel or archangel for divinely created beings who did not take on a physical earthly form to fulfill their role assisting humankind. You can use whatever terms you prefer but it is important that you understand what I mean when I discuss them. Contacting Ascended masters and Angels Seers, mystics, and spiritual adepts have always been aware of the Angelic realms and Masters. However, they are not just for a “spiritual elite” but can assist each of us. They are all around us, as soon as we Ask for this, but to experience them directly requires spiritual development. Following a spiritual practice with dedication eventually leads to experiences of them, but they can also assist us as we are growing toward higher consciousness. They won’t intrude in our awareness without our say so (even to help us), because to do so would violate our divinely given free will. More individuals today are open to these contacts, than ever before as collective humankind evolves to higher levels. Discovering for oneself, that the great Minds of the Masters are still available, even though they no longer animate a physical body, is one of the timeless gifts promised through different forms of spiritual practice. Developing a working relationship with them, we can learn from them directly, what each extends to assist humankind. Using the Qabala to understand the energy of Ascended realm beings The Qabala is one the most well-known metaphysical systems that presents a symbolic map (and experiential entry points) in which Ascended realm beings can be met in consciousness. These waves of light connect us directly to our own higher spiritual levels and ultimately to divine Source. A model that links the energy encountered in human life, with the higher spiritual realms, helps understand the gifts of the Ascended masters and angels – along with the type of spiritual energy that we came to express during our life. Chapter Six introduces you to the Qabala, as a tool to accelerate your connection to the Angels and Masters and your own highest essence. Each of the one hundred sixty-seven Masters and Angels profiled in this book are introduced according to their correspondence with one of the Thirty-two Paths of the Qabala. This allows their specific gifts to become clear and allows you to recognize the one(s) who can be most helpful to you at this time.
