Fertile Love was written as a read aloud love story to explain the courageous and magical process parents undergo when they make their little one with both abundant love and fertility angel helpers. Fertile Love is intended and illustrated for ALL couples (including LGBTQ+) and provides an opportunity at the end for parents to creatively add elements of their own love story and how their magical child came to be in the world.

About the Author

The author’s path to motherhood was anything but straightforward. From battling breast cancer at age 33 to getting remarried in her forties with a ticking biological clock, Debbie wondered if she should let go of her fertile dream to have a baby borne of her own body. But her faith was restored when she fell in love and she and her new partner embarked on a journey to make a child through assisted reproductive technology. As a psychotherapist specializing in identity issues, play therapy services, and trauma informed care with diverse humans of all ages and stages of life, Dr. Debbie combines professional insight with her own personal story in this As If Book (www.asifbooks.com).
