Leanne has long been interested in the power of meditation and has studied Reiki and crystal healing. Late in 2017, Leanne awoke one night reciting the first few lines of this book and knew instantly they needed to be built on and shared with the world.
Using random scenarios from the average child’s school year, the rhymes inside contain subtle and uplifting messages for young and old on mindfulness, and provide encouragement, food for thought and basic tools on how to stay positive, present and grounded.
Mindful.org describes mindfulness as being the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing and not being overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. Add to that self-belief, peace and positivity and we could be living in a more harmonious society.
That is all wonderful, but where do you start? Being aware of what you are experiencing inside and out is a good place, and Leanne hopes her little book develops in its readers a sense of optimism and connectedness in their daily lives, as well as comfort.
