On the morning of 3rd October 8817 they sprang to prosecution. Across the stone bridge he rushed, Ælffeðra took to the air. Nirdhanin leapt over the river, Inca Illa strode onto the bridge and crushed it to pebbles and the earth trembled. Inca Illa smote the gorse hedge with fire and flame from ten thousand Suns that poured from his eyes, for he was bright and shone. Panic struck The Towers of Nakālu, drums began to beat, there were seven on each tower. On the left tower the seven drummers were led by a boy aged seven, named Nathan Futrell, his ankles were in stocks, on the other tower the 6 drummers were led by a slightly older boy named John Joseph Clem, his ankles were also in stocks and those were only two of the myriad children stolen from afar by minions of the Lords of Shadows. The drum-rolls could be heard everywhere as their dirty base line could be heard echoing louder, further up as each tower joined in. It was no music little boys should be playing and instructing, neither of any delusion of storm approaching but, a violent call to arms. The two Paladins were nearly upon the towers, the drum-roll changed instantly and the 12 voices began a chant against the oncoming legions; “Death to the living, Death to the living, Long life to the killers, Success to the hunter dark And ill luck to Paladins! And ill luck to Paladins!” Faster and faster the zongagongos (war drums) beat, greater and greater the chants, darker and darker the spells came from the imp voices in 'victus' vocals...

The Prooimia continues into her adult life, and regales with stories about her translocation inside of trees, her encounter with the Hobgoblin Horde, the death of her husband, and her abduction and encounter with a Wolvlinga. This encounter leads to a great battle between four Ælves and thousands of Waelwulfas, Kwizir and Melchizedecks. DreamBook also contains The Book after the Prooimia – Jaddamiah Jabberwocky. The story continues with a certain Jaddamiah Jabberwocky, who sets off from the same village as Hyperion (the little girl from The Prooimia), to fight the Meline Dragon with a glaive that is not his own, in a town he has never been to. It is a most fascinating tale, filled with magickal creatures, monsters and dwarves, a dragon, nymphs and dryads. It speaks of dwhëels who save the day and climaxes with the Battle of Ħqêl Dmâ, where thousands are slain and the sibling shapeshifters – Búbgaz ‘the Destroyer’ and Búbkalu ‘he who makes those who run stand still’ – exact the will of their Bele Kašadom ‘he who overpowers with doom’. More importantly, it is a tale of the mighty power of the Ælves. The Ælves!
About the Author
Sebastian was born in 1967 in Port Elizabeth and grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. Since 2016 he has resided in Wellington, New Zealand. At the tender age of fifteen, Sebastian wrote poetry for his first book, Unleash the Dragon, and later he edited a movie script and wrote song lyrics. He has written several books and also owned an art gallery called The Nubian Group Art Gallery; where he exhibited and sold his work – now hanging on walls around the world. He continues to write and produce art professionally, and DreamBook is the culmination of his years of writing and creating art.
