About the Author

A excellently well written and thoroughly engaging account of all that is and was important to Dian in her fascinating life. Interesting, sometimes painful and heartbreaking but simultaneously enlightening I enjoyed reading this book. For all those who appreciate fine books.

“ Shanghai Ink “ by Rashida Nash is a compelling read from start to finish , and rightfully deserves the accolade of “a book too hard to put down “ . This work offers a witty and entertaining description of living and working in three major world cities , including the many vicissitudes encountered with everyday things normally taken for granted in Western life. The author grasps the readers attention , and takes them on a rollercoaster ride through the entire gammut of life’s emotions , from childhood to maturity , including the emotionally debilitating breakdown of two marriages , and the poignant account of the prolonged estrangement from the central character’s own daughter. Some may say that it is debateable as to whether there was a happy ending , however , this reader is left in no doubt that , our heroine , Dian , is happy within herself and looking forward to carving out a niche in her new found life. Perhaps , major world city number four is on the horizon !!
