Conscious Conduit

First, allow me to say right out of the gate that I cannot take full credit for writing this book. SPIRIT channeled each topic in this book. I am merely the conduit. As my wife, Nina can attest to, whenever I have tried to write about my life story in the past, the writing has been bad. REALLY bad. Before my connection to SPIRIT, my writing came off as pompous, self-serving drivel that was borne from a karmic need to be “right” all the time, even if it meant not speaking “truth”. It took a lot of Soul work to let go of that karmic need, and I cannot thank Nina enough for helping me find the path that allowed me to finally let that part of me go. After I decided to allow SPIRIT to guide what I write and allow myself to be the conduit, my writing has been able to reach its intended audience. The feedback from our clients and the larger Spiritual community has been invaluable as the Work provides the help and insight needed to aid in our collective Ascension. The intention of this book is to help the new Practitioner of Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) to navigate their world from a new perspective. When we think about a “user’s guide”, whether that guide is supposed to tell you how to program your television or the proper way to eat a papaya, what we expect is a manual on the “proper” way to do something. This book is not that type of user’s guide. The purpose of this guide is to give you a roadmap you can use to help navigate the strange and wonderful world of SRT, but the ultimate journey and how you get there is for you to decide, not me. I am assuming that you have already taken the Basic and/or Advanced SRT training, or perhaps you are seriously thinking about it and you want to know a little more about what you might be getting into. It is also possible that you learned SRT on your own by reading Robert’s books, and here you may be looking for a little more guidance as to what you should do next. SPIRIT has guided me to write this book for you. With this book, you can learn a little more about how to align your soul to be a clearer conduit for High Self, and then to provide you with a practical guide to turn what you have learned into a successful business where you help others to find the same connection you have. In addition to writing this book, I also write a weekly blog that I channel with the assistance of SPIRIT and High Self. My original plan was to compile this book into a collection of blog posts, but SPIRIT had other plans, and I am very glad for it. Before I wrote each chapter of this book, I would begin with my Prep to Work, which we will discuss in a little more detail in Chapter 1, and I ask SPIRIT if it knows what I will be writing. If I have an idea about what the chapter should be about, I will simply ask for some guided “high points” to include. I then turn to the Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT) Charts. Since my ego has been set aside, and before I begin, I often have no idea what we are going to write. I am literally the blank slate upon which SPIRIT can dictate its message. SPIRIT then guides me to three or four charts and I write down what I see. I then look at what SPIRIT has provided and I look for a pattern. Once I see the pattern, I ask SPIRIT to confirm if the pattern I am seeing is what they intend for me to write. Once I get an affirmative of 100%, I get to work. In the chapters, you will often see citations within the text that refer to certain SRT charts. Those are direct messages from SPIRIT that High Self has asked me to include in the narrative. As I begin to write, my ego often goes somewhere else as the words start to come out of my keyboard. In a way, I almost feel like the secretary of my High Self, as they tell me what to write. After High Self channels the message, they allow me to come back and edit the passage for those silly things like grammar, flow, and style, but they NEVER allow me to change the direction or the message of the chapter. This book will not to teach you how to do SRT. Not only are the SRT training materials protected by copyright, the intent of this book is to be merely a supplement to the work of Robert Detzler, the original channel of SRT and the founder of the Spiritual Response Association (SRA). Robert’s books are required reading for all SRT Practitioners, Certified Consultants and Teachers, and the copyrighted training materials are only available to those students who are receiving SRT training by a Certified SRT Teacher. During his life, Robert was constantly channeling new information from High Self and communicating that information through regular communications with the SRT community. Robert passed away in 2013, but even though SRT’s primary conduit is no longer with us, SPIRIT continues to work through others to provide the SRT community with new information and insights to Ascension. I am merely one of many as the Work continues to grow and evolve.
