One Crazy Weekend

When the bullies finally got across the street, I was almost halfway through the alley. I knew my lead wouldn’t last and I had to find someplace to hide. At the alley intersection I turned right. I could hear the sound of their heavy boots running. After a few steps of running in that direction I saw a door in the back of one of the buildings was open. A woman was in the process of going in, her back was to me. I veered towards her and I caught the door just before it slammed and jumped inside.
