When I was sixty-seven years young, I went to Florida for the first time during the winter months (living in my van, van-dweller) One day I prayed to God to send me a new husband ( for I have desired to remarry for many years.) A few days later I was sitting in McDonald’s on my laptop in Bradenton, Florida. In walk this man with a big sombrero on his head and a knapsack on his back. He took of his hat and he was bald, ( I don’t like bald-headed men) I thought he was a street person. He sat across from me, facing me so he could watch me…later he walked toward me and said “Hi” my name is Jacob… Oh!!! He had a Biblical name (coincidence, did God have a sense of Humor). He invited me to his RV and kept inviting me to come to his RV. So one day I did go to his Motorhome. We talked, had wine and he kissed me near my right shoulder, near my Heart. Time stood still that day, one minute it was light and the next moment I observed and it was dark, where did the time go. He left the area for a while but during that time unusual occurances started to happen to me. I started to remember all the hurts, pain, abuses, ugliness I felt for myself from the men who used and abused me during my lifetime at a young age and up to a great part of my life. I had forgotten all of these incidents that that resided in me locked up within my Heart…Unknown to me so I cried, walked by the river walkway, cried some more mostly at night when I camped out in my van…

This is an adventure of healing the heart through art and journaling. About the Author
Sandy Sereno is an Artist and Art Teacher creating Art in various mediums as well as Mixed Media and Journaling. She has a passion to create Art in Mixed Media and other Art Images in Oils, Pastels, Crayons, Pencils, Acrylics and Watercolor. Sandy chooses to follow her Creative Spirit a life long adventure into Healing the Heart through Art, Dance, Music and Meditation. There are not mistakes in when creating Art, all is good. Sandy Sereno loves to explore her creative endeavors with her students outdoors as well as her Art Studio. Sandy holds Bachelor Degree in Education from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH and also studied with some Art Teacher Masters. She studied numerous classes in Drawing and Painting at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, in Manchester, NH.
