New Beginnings They are all around us. Babies, Spring, New Year's resolutions. A chance to start over; to leave behind what no longer serves us. A new year provides motivation to begin again, to try a new path. However, old attachments can be so ingrained in our souls that to leave them behind can be uncomfortable. But the new can also be uncomfortable if not downright frightening. It takes courage to pursue a new path even though we know it is necessary. What provides courage? One step at a time, a deep breath, having someone's hand to hold. All of these and more. This is where miracles can occur. Knowing that every day with Jesus gives us strength to begin again, to transform our lives, to live in the image of God. To know peace and joy in the midst of life's struggles is to know God and His miracles. May you experience all the miracles planned for you . And maybe you can be a miracle for someone else.

About the Author
After retiring from education, Lynne Waters began pursuing a new direction with her love of art and the written word. Her preferred mediums of watercolor, oil, and pastel complement her fluid, loose style in her art. Her way of creating visual images with words is inspirational. An award-winning artist, Lynne has a strong sense of community and has donated her work to numerous non-profits for fundraising and international conservation efforts. Lynne has a deep and enduring desire to bring beauty and peace into our world. It is her hope those who view her paintings and read her reflective anecdotes will be inspired to do the same.
