(Or What I Learned From Our Conversations When I Decided To Listen)

Recently, I started a social media page, to share a very important and personal part of my private self. I wasn’t going to - but as I looked around me and felt what was going on in the world, it was time for me to share Him with you - so that you, like myself, could sometimes find solace in what He has to say. He always has incredible insights.
I’ve known the Old Man all my life. In fact, I believe that I have known Him forever. He showed up when I was young and watched over me as I was growing up. He stood by me when I laughed or cried - and He always whispered to me when I had decisions to make. He appeared in person (all dressed in black in fact) when I thought that I would lose my brother to his stroke 4 years ago. He assured me that things would work out - and they did. He showed up when I cried about my Mother forgetting whom I am because of her brain giving out. He held my hand as I made decisions with my Father – perhaps (and most probably) even speaking through him. The Old Man has constantly reassured me about my children, about my husband and about my work. He’s calmed me on my own journeys through this lifetime - and He has managed to connect all of Time and Matter as One. Coming into my own, I have realized that He’s around with me - all the time. He speaks through the wind, through the falling rain - in the giggles of a baby and through the sick person who holds your hand. He calms despair, soothes the greatest hurts and gives me hope that things are as they should be.
But how do I KNOW that it’s the Old Man speaking to me? Perhaps it’s my intuition, which is in full expansion. It’s no secret that I’m constantly plugged in to this adventure but that I also explore all my astral dimensions. One night, as I cried and panicked about something or another - I came to a bench by a river, I sat down –and I turned around and there He was. He held me as I cried, for hours it seems. Then his voice resonated within my heart as He told me how to go about my dilemma. I doubted Him. Very much so, in fact – that is until I decided that I had nothing to lose and just went for it. It worked. He was right. He’s always right. I’m starting to realize that as a 47-year-old woman, I have many things to learn about the secrets of the Universe. I’m only a little speck of energy, connected to something much bigger. Vaster. Worry gets me nowhere, but the Old Man helps me get places. He’s around and shifts His image - so I’m always on my toes. At times He sounds like a student. Other times, He comes through music. Or images. But I know it’s Him because I feel it. I smile now and am grateful that He is. Life would be so much more difficult were I not to notice Him, as I did for many years prior to meeting Him.
A few months ago, I had a dream. The Old Man told me to share His insights with you. And so I have, through social media and now in this book, the first in a series. Here are little nuggets of inspiration. Perhaps even magical advice: common sense and down to Earth moments through those I meet on my journeys. You’re only seeing ‘part’ of what I hear and see - after all - I need to keep a very small intimate part of myself as that: private. But know that every time I hear Him telling me to share something with you: I will, in a timely fashion, so that you too, can hear what He wants you to take note of. Here are some of our most memorable conversations.
One night, I sat on the bench by the river and an old man shared his wisdom with me. He told me that I can always hear his voice through that of others. These are his words and what I learned from some of our conversations.
