The Tree Fire tells the true story of a young boy who was rescued from a fire and the events that led up to the accident. The book helps to create safety awareness and offers tips and suggestions on how to play and stay safe. Tips on how to create a fire escape plan are also included.
About the Author
After graduating from university with a degree in biology/psychology, Star worked for several years with children and youth. As a certified yoga teacher, Star specialized in yoga for young children. She is also a certified equestrian instructor, who worked with children with disabilities connecting the healing power of horses with the needs of the children. Star was always passionate about writing and after her son was born, her interest in writing for children ignited. When not in Calgary, Alberta, you can find Star in Tucson, Arizona with her husband and son, a student at the University of Arizona.
