Saint Pio’s Blessing

I kneeled and prayed in front of Padre Pio’s statue and instantly the feeling of peace and calmness in the entire room magnified. I’m not sure how long I stayed like this, I could have stayed there forever I felt, but I was not alone so I got up and let Mike have his turn there. As Mike was praying I walked outside the room to give him some privacy and to enjoy the energy alone in there. It really is such a wonderful room. Just outside the door was a big book on Padre Pio’s life. I skimmed through the pages and it opened at a page where Padre Pio had lived as a child. My heart almost stopped…that was the very same place I had seen in my past life regression meditation months ago! What did this mean? How was this possible, I was not making sense of much of these happenings lately? When Mike came out of the room I showed him the book and then I opened the page to where Pio lived as a child and I reminded Mike of that past life experience I had in Italy, he remembered the details. I then pointed to the page and I could hardly speak as I said “that was the place in my meditation”. Mike said “where was that?” and I had to search the book for a reference to Pietrelcina.The place name meant nothing to me, as far as I knew anyway! Had I known Padre Pio in a past life, is that what this meant?” This was such an amazing experience and I was feeling somewhat overwhelmed. We lit some candles and said some prayers before we set off on our journey home. All that evening I could not get Padre Pio out of my head.
