I am not a therapist or life coach. I am simply a 30 something year old woman who learned from many experiences, and you may be able to learn from them also. This story applies to anyone and everyone. We all have our own story. We all have had our ups and downs. Some life experiences are worse than others. Whatever the situation is though, I truly believe none of us are broken. We all have experiences that contribute to our life's journey. I was fortunate to learn from the experiences that peppered the earlier part of my life’s journey thanks to child abuse, alcoholism, anxiety, stress and a calling for spiritual guidance. I am sharing this story not only to get it on paper so I have a record of my paths traveled so far, but so at least one other person can realize he or she is not broken and not alone. I empathize with all of you, no matter your story, and give you lots of love. It is my hope that all of your experiences have made you who you are today. You are a special and unique person full of gifts and the ability to learn more. Be hopeful and live life to the fullest. Thanks so much for being a part of my story.

About the Author
Angelica Alton is married and has 2 four-legged children. She has been with her husband for eighteen years. Angelica has received several academic degrees and certifications including her Doctoral Degree in Business Administration and is currently working as a chief executive for a government. Her life experiences, however, and the growth from these experiences are what actually gives Angelica the credentials to write “We Are Not Broken: A True Story of Abuse, Alcoholism and Anxiety.”
