Note from the Author, The poems and affirmations in this coloring book are an inspiration I had after satisfying my desire to learn something about the Chakras. They are my interpretation based on information I gathered from various readings. I am not an expert on the subject, rather I'm perhaps someone not unlike yourself; someone looking for answers about my own spiritual journey. My hope is that the poems and affirmations will inspire you to seek guidance from 'The Light Above' and encourage you to explore 'The Colors Within' and perhaps investigate for yourself the many books available on the Chakras. I offer up this small collection with the sincere wish that you will enjoy the readings and the mandalas.

About the Book
Simply written, the chakra-inspired poems found in this coloring book are the author’s personal interpretation of the seven chakras. The affirmations associated with each of the chakras are intended to give voice to some common but perhaps unspoken thoughts and feelings. Let your artistic inspiration flow as you relax and add your own colors to the beautiful mandalas. Enjoy!
About the Author
About a year ago, I felt that I wanted to learn something about chakras—a subject I’d heard about but didn’t have any understanding of. After doing some reading and researching, I felt inspired to write poems and affirmations that expressed my interpretation of the chakras. The idea to incorporate them into a mandala coloring book came after reading the poems to my youngest daughter who thought that including them in a mandala coloring book could be a good format in which to present them. I live with my husband and our two dogs in Southeastern Wisconsin. I have two amazing daughters and two wonderful granddaughters.
