Now that you understand the strategy and tact for working through the i^2 process lets take a look at our 1st two pillars of scripture that are found in the Christian Bible. The first is 2 Timothy 1:7. “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” As I meditated on this scripture I found a lot that helped me to understand a lot more about who I was and what I was made of. In 2 Timothy, Paul answerers the question of what we are at our core. Paul says that God gave us a spirit of power, of love, and of sound mind. This is what we are on each of our three levels of existence; mind, body and spirit. We have just been knocked out of tune by our life. Lets start by defining a sound mind? A sound mind is one that is completely connected to your heart. It is not thrown off course by the changing winds or currents of our life. It is present, at peace and in control of the self. What is our power? We have the power to alter the status quo of the environment around us. We are constantly, either positively or negatively, impacting our surroundings; whether we want to acknowledge it or not. Finally love. Well simply put, it is our energy at its highest form. There is a bright energy that radiates from each of us. It comes from our heart and is best seen through children. You know, before the world convinces us to cover or shade a portion of this pure light. Now I am not going to get into how powerful fear can be or how inviting it can be to let it in to your heart, I am just going to stand firm on the fact that is not YOU! It is simply something that can be put on you that does not belong. Got it?

First, let me start out by saying i2 is built upon Biblical principals. i2 was built with the intention of growing you into the person that God intended for you to be. Biblical characters and stories are where the strategies that inspired i2 are rooted. Even if you do not believe as we do, these strategies work. Each of our 5-week programs are built on the following facts: there is a God, He built you for a purpose and within that purpose lies fulfillment. Our information has come from the teachings of His word, the example of His son, Jesus Christ, and the testimony of our lives. Even if accepting that is a challenge, my hope is that you are willing at least to peak under the hood and see for yourself. Freedom begins by calling out exactly what is weighing you down physically, mentally and spiritually.
