About the Book

Brenda Chalmers is middle-aged, single, and restless. Many days, she is lost in her daydreams of what could have been. But what she does not know is that chance is already playing a bigger part in her life than she realizes. When she lands the job of her dreams at a firm that caters to VIP clients, Brenda is thrilled that her life is finally back on track again. As she is led down an unexpected path full of joys, challenges, and the possibility of true love, she meets new people, oversees a remodeling project at work, and slowly begins to build confidence again. But when life brings her full circle and she uncovers her true identity, Brenda soon realizes that she now has reason to believe in karma and its power over her destiny, especially when it comes to love and family. Iris House Legacy shares the poignant tale of a middle-aged woman’s quest to cure her restlessness and find her place in the world.

About the Author

My life has been colourful and varied, I have been writing for my own pleasure for many of my years. Never had anything published, as I did not know how to get started. This book has been over 10 years in the making, a fiction that took initially 4 weeks to get into the computer and the rest of the time spent in moving countries, refining points and fixing grammar. It is a work of pure fiction, meant to entertain, it does not have gory scenes, or graphic love sections. It is a gentle book meant to take the reader away from the humdrum, and possibly believe that miracles can happen. I live in Melbourne, a solitary life, which suits a writer, still working full time (to pay the bills). My two grown children living their own lives check in on me occasionally, which is as it should be. I hope that you enjoy my offering, please do not judge me too harshly, I shall try and improve on future epsiodes of Brenda’s life once the story pops into my head!
