This book is about the journey of transformation,
thinking and living outside of the box, dreaming and creating the
life that you were meant to live, and living to your full potential.
It’s about leading a life of joy, impact, and abundance.
But what does this really mean? How do we actually walk on this path?
The first key ingredient is awareness.
We must realize that every one of us tends to live inside our little boxes.
We have created this box over time, starting in our childhood: right and wrong,
proper and improper, good and bad, acceptable and unacceptable.
Over time, we don’t even realize we are inside these self-created boxes, and our views of the world have been limited,
filtered, and shrunk.
The next key ingredient is readiness. Are you ready to make a paradigm shift,
to break the bonds and fly away, to be transformed?
Change is hard; transformation is much harder.
Going outside of our comfy and safe boxes is not easy.
We need to have a reason to do so, and we need to be ready for it.
How do you think the caterpillar feels when he is going
through its transformation into a butterfly? Is he going through
confusion, loss of identity, worry, insecurity, and fear of the unknown?
Or is he in complete trust and surrender to the process,
allowing it to happen? Transformation requires allowing and surrendering
to the process of becoming.
As humans, we go through two major transformations in our lives,
no matter what. First, we come out of our mothers’ wombs and
into this world. The other is when we are passed on to another world
upon death. In our lifetimes, many times we are invited to go through
various levels of transformation consciously, but many of us decide not
to answer the call and prefer to stay in our comfy boxes. Our egos have
worked so hard to create safe and protective boxes around us,
where everything makes sense. Why risk it?
Transformation requires awareness and readiness. It is a leap of faith.
There needs to be a sense of connection to the self and to our personal
powers. There needs to be trust in ourselves and in the universe—a divine power beyond what we see and are familiar with.
For the most part, this book contains reflections on my own journey
of transformation. This journey was not easy or smooth for me.
I had to face my fears, be lost in darkness many times, be knocked
down over and over, and get back up again. During this journey, I
learned a lot (although not quite willingly), and I was helped many
times through seen and unseen forces. I witnessed the process of
transformation taking shape, and I realized that there is no end to it.
This is a journey of a lifetime.
The path to freedom starts with opening to and recognizing our own
true self. It is finding our own way of being and feeling at home with it.
It is honoring and living in alignment with our heart’s desires.
The interplay between joy, impact, and abundance is not linear
and sequential. It is a dynamic and regenerative process. When you are in joy,
your creative genius awakens, and you want to make an impact.
When you make an impact, abundance comes to you.
When you are in abundance, you are in a position of making a
deeper impact. When you make a worthy impact, you create joy for
yourself and for the people around you. The spiral continuum of
regeneration and co-creation continues. The starting point of the spiral
is your essence,
your seed; the other end of it is pointing to freedom, to infinity.
Each spiral is the unfolding signature of the unique you. You cannot
copy, imitate, or follow a path that has already been travelled by another.
You can honor and learn from others’ experiences, and you can listen to guides
and helpers that you meet on your way, but ultimately you have to find and
walk on your own path.
This book is intended to provide you with guideposts and pointers in order
to help you walk on this path with a bit more grace, awareness, and confidence.
