This book is a commencement—an introduction for many more to come. My writings, I trust, will nudge you awake and help you see the abundant reality in which we live. My hope for you is that you realize the feeling of wholeness is within reach and that you marvel at the beauty of human life—just like a child who has been given a gift.
Even though I am seventeen years old and still in high school, I have been blessed to catch glimpses of those who have broken the boundaries of their minds and live through undying spiritual love.
This book aims to teach you one of the fundamental spiritual truths: the psychic and the spiritual are one and the same. Both of these things demand the seeker to unlock his or her mental influence, rise to higher awareness, and experience beyond the material. Psychic is psychology, but it is also science, and it can be introduced through these means. This is what must be introduced instead of solely concentrating on the spiritual and saying that it has nothing to do with the psychic. This I will call psychic spiritual.
There exists in this world what we call “psychic” and other things we call “spiritual.” Whether you separate the two or not—or think that one is genuine while the other is not—I am here to tell you that they are one and the same. Regardless, the word psychic has been quite abused through certain media and books. I sometimes find it hard to use because I do not always trust the word. It is quite inconsistent, and the meaning of it changes drastically from person to person, TV show to TV show and from website to website. The word psychic is intriguing to most, and it provokes great imagination about what it could entail; unfortunately, this makes it the greatest concept to monopolize. Nevertheless, I will use it for the reason of its popularity and recognizability, but you are free to replace it with another word. While reading, I ask that you please set aside any judgments that you might already have about the word, allowing you to read freely without disturbances so you may make your own decisions and life choices. Nurture this book the way I have and breathe in what I say within its pages. Pay close attention, and you will come to know what I speak of. Do not be afraid of—or cynical about—the things I tell you to play with.
I will try my best to make this book as simple as I can for others to understand. There is no use in speaking so philosophically that no one will understand the first explanation. After all, the approach of the intellect and wordings of the philosopher are taught by the ego. Your true self does not speak in the tongue of humans or in the ballads of philosophers. Things are naturally simple. Overthinking only makes things complicated. However, there are some things cannot be said outright, and that is when the keen eye, the listening ear, and creative language come in.
Will you read on with an open mind?
