Chapter 12 Seals, Symbols and Secrets
“Seal” is an interesting word. It can be a verb as when we seal an envelope for mailing. It could also be a noun. In bible times when a king made a law or decree and set his seal upon it, that decree could not be reversed. It was the Law and it was not to be broken. In today’s society when someone’s records are sealed it usually takes a court order to release them. And in Revelation the title deed of the earth is sealed and only Jesus Christ is worthy to open those seals.
Seals have been used as symbols by royalty and authority since ancient times, and most of them had a connection to a god, the particular god that gave them that authority, the god that gave them the divine right to rule over mankind. Generally the seal will have a motto that represents the connection between the earthly ruler and the deity.
And a seal may cover or hide something, to hold a thing secret until a certain time when it is to be revealed as when Daniel was told to seal up the book until the time of the end. Taking all the above into account, one wonders what does the Great Seal of the United States represent? Would that Seal come under the aforementioned definition? Does it hide anything? Does it conceal something that can’t be released until a certain time?
On the back of your dollar bill is a common link to the Fourth Kingdom, the Antichrist Kingdom. Note the interesting symbol of the all-seeing eye. There’s a big eye looking back at you – it’s in a triangle, and sitting above another triangle.
Just about everything on that Seal is symbolic and the symbols represent something, but what? What do the Latin words mean? Why is it written in Latin anyway? Latin is a language that most people can’t even read.
There’s a great secret on this earth shrouded in mystery….
