The Unfoldment

Before going to sleep that night I reflected how Mother teaches, not only in her sessions but also in every encounter, experience, and thought I have throughout the day. This encouraged me to look for her more readily and to be receptive to her teaching in every waking moment. It came crystal clear to me, then, that there are no chance contacts. Every encounter, whether I choose to welcome and learn from it or not, has a purpose.

With that thought in mind and a heart full of gratitude for my life, I drifted off to sleep. Within hours, though, I woke up with words formulating in my mind that I knew were not my own. Somewhere between wakefulness and sleep, my pen scrawled across the page and wrote:

There comes a time when an individual has had enough of a particular mindset or type of behavior, or even a typical stance taken, and says, “No more!” What is behind this utterance, this declaration? Not only the cry of the spirit, but the knowing – the absolute knowing that a higher calling is at hand. This is not to be confused with merely a departure into asceticism or fleeing of the pleasures and burdens of life. Nay! This is to be regarded as a climb to the heights of your very fullness, the magnificence of realized potential. This is in no way the same for every human being, for the complete release of the human spirit takes on many forms. It is the knowing on your part that there is so much more to you than meets the eye. There is so much more to your life than you are aware of. That which is in place today can change and release to a new reality tomorrow.

If patterns of the past stagnate you and call you down from the currents on which you soar from Eagle’s wings, stand back from them and ask yourself, “Is there another way of giving unto me? Is there another way of loving myself, giving to myself, nurturing myself, conceiving of myself so as to feel the joy, the absolute bliss of who I am created to be?”

The Light is not present to be dimmed nor extinguished, but rather invited to brighten and to share. It is merely a fabrication of the mind that believes or fastens onto old ways, outdated ways, as being that of “salvation".

Blow the cover off it all! Be thou unleashed! Soar! Try new ways, places, people and things. Soften your stance! Remind yourself: I can do something different. I can value myself as never before. I can unfold.

Be not afraid of thy passions, for they are the gateways to the life you seek. Soar, Dear One, be willing to soar!

I knew this was Mother sharing her wisdom, recapping the teaching, and encouraging me to Blow the cover off it all - to dive into my passions like never before. All she wanted was for me to live and express the fullness of me, in the bold, bright way I had been created.
