Life is going to challenge us, and sweep our legs out from under us. As I have stated it is scary. It isn't simple to reach that lasting, ‘teflon’ happiness that NOTHING can disrupt. However, I believe Happiness is available to you, yes YOU, no matter what! I hope this book has shed some light on how to get there. Everyone is different, so some things may work differently for you, but it was these steps that have made all the difference in my life. I know that they can for you too: Gratitude - It is not just saying, “Thank You” it is so much more, a way of life. You must embody it. It must become a way of living, not a word or an act. You must learn to be grateful for even the worst things that show up in your life. Take time to literally WRITE DOWN things you are grateful for... it can be that you have air to breathe, food, water, 10 fingers and toes if you have that many. You could write gratitude for the rest of your life and not run out of things. Attitude - This component cannot be understated. Each of us has a superpower - the power to control how any person or event can impact us. By harnessing this magical power, you simply choose a positive outlook no matter what is happening around you. Gratitude and attitude can change your whole world in the blink of an eye. If you don't believe me, TRY IT! Patience, being Present, and Passion - Your life’s calling can never be rushed. By truly living life where it happens, RIGHT NOW, you will find the true happiness and patience you have lacked. As you become alive and more open to your calling, the passion inside you will become an all-consuming fire that will guide your every action. Self Love - One of the toughest things we must learn to do, is to completely love and accept who we are at this moment. Once this is mastered you will be happier than at any point in your life. Surrender - The scariest and most difficult thing I have ever done. You must turn over your life to the unknown. You must free yourself from your EGO, free from the good opinion of other people and just let life happen. Accept what is, Accept You, Your Life Situation, Just Breathe and JUST LET GO! As you do, you open up room in your life for better things to flood into your life. Life isn't about avoiding the storms, even though we avoid them like hell. Life is about being in the midst of the storm, grateful you are still there and looking for the clear skies on the horizon! Choose your Attitude and Practice Gratitude! This is where life's magic lies, NO MATTER WHAT! I am happy, but I deserve and won't settle for anything less than a magical life, you can too! I don't know how long I have left, but I'll be damned if I'm dying with any regrets, you can too my friends! Demand Joy & Utter Happiness! I am CHOOSING THIS, you can too!
