About the Book

“This is a book for children and adults. The artwork is breathtaking. It wakes up a reverence for all of nature. It reminded us that nothing in nature takes more than it needs. Nothing in nature is about greed. For us, as humans, this is among the most profound reminders and inspirations.” Paula Englander-Golden, Ph.D., Director of Training David E. Golden, Ph.D., President, Say It Straight Foundation Karuna McAllister illustrates through the eyes of a young Native American a powerful message to children about the divinity of life and the connection man has with nature, conveying the idea that all children and people are great. Each illustration leads the reader closer to the understanding of the unity of nature and man. The book teaches respect for creation.

About the Author

Having studied deep meditation for thirty-five years and now a student of shamanic practices, author Karuna McAllister believes this book was divinely inspired by a day trip to Monument Valley, Utah. It was a prophetic answer to prayers in a reading by Shaman Thunderbird Mark Henry. In keeping with shamanic principles, Ms. McAllister wants to convey the ideas of unity of all life and the greatness of all people to children. Karuna is currently living in Alabama with her little dog, Chi.
