A Few Notes Before We Get Started
A large part of this book is about Spirituality. However none of this book is about religion. It is my belief that Spirituality encompasses ALL beliefs and ALL religions. I will be using the name God, Source, The Divine, The Universe interchangeably throughout this book. Using these names in no way implies exclusion of anyone's beliefs in their Creator, Source or religion. Please feel free to substitute any name that makes your feel most comfortable.
This book is not intended to belittle anyone's religion or beliefs in anyway. What I am writing about works for everyone of every religion or belief and even for those who have no particular belief. If what you believe and where you worship now is feeding your soul daily and helping you to know that you can create and live the life of your dreams, by all means stay with it. It is good for all of us to have a safe and loving environment for worship, fellowship and study. However, if you are stuck like I was, or if you spend far too much time believing that you are not worthy or believing that there is a Source who thinks that you are not worthy then it might be time for you to make some changes.
I am writing this book to help you to shorten your learning curve, if you should choose to. This book is going to share some ideas that you might find hard to believe at first and as you read this book you will most likely encounter ideas that make you bristle. In fact I am hoping that you find ideas that actually make you so annoyed that you actually take action. I believe that when we read or hear things that are different from what we believe to be true or when we hear things that are done differently from how we are used to doing them we can sometime get our underwear in a bunch. Sometimes (if you are anything like I used to be years ago) what I write will actually make you angry. That is good. My suggestion is that you sit with the idea for a few days, meditate on it and ask your Divine Team (this is what I call my angels and Spiritual guides) to help you to set aside your ego and learn something different. If after you sit with the idea for awhile it still does not feel good for you then simply discard it.
It is important that you take the ideas from this book that ring true in your heart and simply set aside anything that does not.
