About the Book
In this colorful book, I Can Find God in My City, little Maggie invites children to walk with her through her beloved city, so she can point out some of the places she can find God. She knows “There is no spot where God is not,” as she has learned from a Karen Drucker song, and she enjoys sharing this with everyone who reads this book. This is the third in a series of spiritual “I Can …” books for children. Written in rhyme, it is the perfect book for parents and grandparents to share with children to help children experience and develop their own spirituality. Children will be led to find their own places where God can be found. It is beautifully illustrated in great detail by St. Augustine artist Linda M. Brandt. The lyrics and music to Karen Drucker’s song are included in this book with permission.
About the Author
Evelyn Kahrs, a native of upstate New York, found inspiration in children’s books when reading to her four young children. As a mother, grandmother, former elementary teacher, and writer of spiritual curricula for children, she is now writing spiritual books for children. She and her husband, Bob, live in St. Augustine, Florida.
