Heart-speak
My heart is speaking so loudly this evening.
Telling me what it needs to survive.
Not about what has to be done, or even survival.
But how precious, precious, time is,
when spent with the one who is loved so dearly.
Some would call it quality time,
a day a week,
when all other demands are ignored.
A day we share the nurture of nature,
something so softening,
and pleasing to the spirit,
that the tears fall like rain.
You can feel it in your chest,
hearts have to commune,
they have to soften,
they have to weep.
They have to feel and
what is left is fullness,
fullness to the very core.
There is no depth to life without this.
Love is the antidote to all pain,
And the tears are full of joy.

About the Author
DIANNA KETT, also known as Spirit Finder, grew up living in and loving the Australian countryside. The oldest girl in a large family, she learned the value and gifts of her inner life at an early age. Learning to meditate in her mid-twenties was the beginning of a spiritual journey that continues to this day. She is an avid traveller who knows that home is where the heart soars.
