Religion vs spirituality – one psychics point of view

The concept of being born in sin doesn’t make sense to me. If we are part of a perfect God, and we are considered his children whom he loves with unconditional love, why would he want us to be born in sin and have to suffer all our lives? No parent wants that for their children.
Sin makes life more complicated. It makes us wonder about our thoughts and question ourselves about our actions. We start to wonder if doing things our way is a sin because it’s different from everyone else. It makes us feel dirty. It gives us a sense of loss and aloneness. Many religions want us to air our sins in public and ask to be forgiven. Again this is control and a way of making us feel we are wrong or bad. This is not what we are here to experience.
Karma says do what you want - just remember you’ll get it back. It’s very clear and we don’t have to question our thoughts or actions. We know right from the start what is going to happen to us. It can happen behind closed doors too. You don’t have to tell anyone what you did or didn’t do. The Universe knows what energy you put out or didn’t put out and the intent behind it. It will bring back whatever you put out even if no one else knows about it. You could receive it in your bedroom and no one would even know.
