About the Author
Jan Fowler is an award-winning columnist, television producer/host and national speaker on senior topics. She developed a passion for the senior population during her long career as a licensed speech pathologist, has written two speech therapy books, and has become an ambassador for seniors everywhere.
She is the founder of Starburst Inspirations, her community service award-winning 501 (c (3) nonprofit corporation that recognizes and supports the work of Drug Court.
Jan is also a community theatre actress, emcee, philanthropist, and popular speaker at Senior Expos and events.
She was one of ten Inland Empire, CA women to receive the Town & Gown “Phenomenal Women” award (2005) and was twice the recipient of the “Woman of Achievement” awards from the National League of American Pen Women. Jan has five grandchildren and lives in southern California.
