About the Author

Barbara Ann Simone is a certified teacher and spiritual empowerment coach who volunteers for the Child Bereavement Team at Friends of Caroline Hospice in Beaufort, South Carolina. This team goes into local schools, assisting children as they work through the grieving process. She lives with her husband, Pete, on a tropical island in South Carolina. Sarah Pecorino lives in the woods of central New Hampshire with her husband and son. She loves crafting, recycling, baking, and of course, illustrating. Sarah graduated with a BFA in studio art from Endicott College and tried her hand at interior design, as a scenic painter at a professional music theater, and a graphic artist. She has recently found her footing as a full-time illustrator and can't imagine anything else she'd rather be doing.
