If one partner is controlling by using manipulation through anger or intimidation the other becomes submissive by feeling timid, allowing their partner to walk all over them. The dominant energy in the home comes from the manipulator. The timid energy submits to the controlling one.
If this continues over a period of time it will eventually destroy the union; where the one who is timid has had enough, either by fighting back or choosing to walk out. Either way, it is not a healthy environment as it erects walls of silence, tearing down the partner’s spirit in the process.
If love is the dominant energy in the relationship it can conquer any and all fears. Love can heal painful wounds; re-energize dying relationships by propelling two people toward heights of ecstasy and fulfillment that they could never before have dreamed possible.
