If we are to win the game of life, we must fully understand the opponent. Humans pay little attention to the operation of Darkness in their daily lives. Darkness refers to the host of Dark spirits and other Dark entities in the greater universe. We are typically taught to look for Darkness in severe mental breakdowns, addictions and episodes of violence. This is not typically how Darkness works. The planet Earth was set up as a universal academy for learning. Life in universal academies was set up to allow for us to separate from our Light, and work to earn and appreciate it for all that it is. That journey requires many incarnations. We could only study and earn portions of our Light at a time. Such is the vastness of who we are. So why are we here? Let me borrow an explanation from an earlier work! “Originally, we were all contained in the Great Spirit. In fact, all of reality was contained within Him. He is fondly referred to as the SOURCE. As a result, we constantly received love and light freely from him. As we did nothing to earn that love and light we felt unworthy of it. Additionally, we could not fully comprehend or appreciate it. We wanted to better understand it and to earn it. To this end we arranged with the Great Spirit to separate ourselves from him, forgo our light, and work through process back to the level where we can appreciate all of it. This would allow us to EARN it. We therefore developed galaxies with planets called academies, where we decided to incarnate on to regain and EARN our Light. We agreed to design bodies that were congruent with our academies, in which a portion of our spirits would inhabit to learn particular lessons. Hence our Earth is one of these academies that we have chosen for this purpose. It is the youngest of these academies.” To earn, one requires some level of opposition. We must overcome it order to earn. A group of angels of Light, headed by Lucifer, agreed to provide that opposition. They were to challenge us in our quest to earn our Light. They were to use the tool of suggestion to challenge us. We were and are to consider the polarities of all that we experience, to ascertain which polarity serves our interests. Unfortunately, we humans almost never took the time to study the Opposition. We continued to live mindlessly. We readily accepted the suggestions of the Opposition and eventually began to think of them as our own. For the most part, we showed the opposition no challenge. We forgot that we were involved in a GAME, the game of life. Over time, the Opposition felt useless as there was no human challenge to them. They got their way with us. We accepted all their suggestions as ours and sometimes defended them. We almost never considered the origin of our thoughts. The opposition therefore knew the results before they challenged us. We just folded to their every suggestion. Their work became boring for them. There was no more fun for them in challenging us. We became oblivious to their role in our lives. They then began to think of how they could make themselves more relevant. The Creation of Darkness These angels (the opposition) meet and plotted a new strategy. They then met with their leader and made their case to him for their new role. They told Lucifer that it was easy to dupe humans into following them, as they were easy prey. They could therefore break away from Light, and thus the Great Spirit, (who is called Yahweh by all spiritual beings, and some enlightened humans), and set up a counter Kingdom to Light. That Kingdom would be one of Darkness. They would seek to challenge the Kingdom of Light by luring humans into following them. They thought it would be easy to build up their numbers in this way. They were sure that their new role would provide them with more fun and purpose. They could easily validate their efforts by counting their spoils, that of the human lives that they effectively derailed. Lucifer was not initially accepting of their desires and plans. However, they continued to appeal to his ego. He would be their unrivaled leader, with full authority. He would no longer have to be subservient to Yahweh. He could call his own shots. All he had to do was to relinquish his position in Light, relinquish his own Light, and thus be free from the dictates and principles of Light. It took a long time to convince Lucifer. He had worked hard to raise his consciousness to such a high level. He was now being asked to relinquish it. What was in it for him? What was he to gain by all of this? Lucifer was told by his opposition angels that he could create his own new rules for his kingdom. He would no longer be subservient to the principles of Light. Further, he could freely cheat to gain an advantage over Light. Light had to honor its principles. They, being Darkness, could violate those principles at will. That would give them an unfair advantage over Light and virtually guarantee their success. Eventually, by the force of sheer numbers, they could effectively challenge Yahweh for control of the universe. Victory would be a very easy and sure proposition.
