The Grand Mother's Journey embarks on a journey of discovery that links spirituality with Mother qualities in order to create the healing that our world needs now. We learn from Ramakrishna that God is the Great Mother, the World Mother, our highest level of consciousness which lets us experience Oneness. Spirituality is seen as a way of experiencing the World Mother that sparks in us her fire of deep compassion, courage, and love for truth and justice. Wisdom traditions teach us that our world is a pathway of human growth into our highest level of consciousness, but we are held back by Māyā, the illusion of separate ego-selves. We learn that the ancient concept of the ‘Akashic field’ resonates as a worldview with quantum physics. A connection can also be found between the coherent movement of this field with Assagioli’s universal will, the will of the Great Mother, and our ability to align with that will. Remnants of societies who tuned into the will of the Mother remain amongst the indigenous people of the Americas, who concluded that the Western cruel focus on power and money is the symptom of a contagious mind disease that eats what is human. We explore how we can liberate us from this disease and become truly human again.

About the Book
The Grand Mother’s Journey is a wake-up call for humanity. It pulls together rich evidence that we are at the brink of collapse. However, it provides the means to recover the essence of what it means to be human, from the depth of our being. It points towards the possibility of a New World where we join in unity, where our focus on earning and spending money is replaced by a focus on creating and sharing what we have. A crucial aspect of this journey of ‘knowing’ is the emphasis of Mother and Grandmother qualities without being feminist.
About the Author
Marion Gertrud Mensing grew up in Germany and spent her first forty-six years in what others would see as a successful life. She had two children, was married, held a PhD in Mathematics and steadily moved up the social ladder as a high-achiever in the financial industry. But inside she grew more and more devastated. When she was sent to Ireland by her employer everything changed. Ireland touched her heart. The old life was not working anymore. She became more and more spiritual and had to leave everything behind. Her connection with a brave Irish nun was the only anchor in the disturbing breakdown that she experienced. Her money-focussed old world had clashed with her spirituality. When she saw the light at the end of the dark tunnel of transformation she evolved as a trauma therapist, knowing that it was her journey to support others in their spiritual journeys. The book “The Grand Mother’s Journey” is a reflection of her extensive inner learning.
