About the Author

Jósa Goodlife is a multi-faceted artist, energy healer & facilitator. Originally from Iceland, she now resides in the Bay Area, California where she serves her community with somatic yoga & sound healing, and one-on-one energy/spirit work.

Elemental Rebirth is Jósa’s debut book, though her writing has long been a source of inspiration for her online followers. Through poetry, personal reflection, and exploration of life & death/healing & connection, she has cultivated a space for deep contemplation and transformation.

Excellent book! Exceptional artwork! Is it prose? Or is it poetry? You decide. One thing for sure, it is written by the author’s heart and soul, and it is an incredible masterpiece, and it will for sure resonate with anyone who reads it. The stories told within this book will take you on the journey of the author during one of the most devastating experiences one can go through. And it does not matter if you have been on a difficult journey yourself… The deep soul-diving, the kindness in the darkest moments, the empathy received and given, and thought-provoking rhetorical questions that permeate the book will most definitely tug at your heart’s strings, make you think, and give you hope. When I first received it, I opened the book to flip the pages to see what I was in for. I was not necessarily in the mood to read anything then. It was late in the evening, and I was ready to go to bed. Instead, hours later, I found myself engulfed by the words and the artwork. I could not put it down until the very last sentence was read. Wide awake, I could not sleep that night. Instead the couple of months since, I have re-read the book a few times and found more to contemplate. Your experience may be different. You may be called to savor the book, or you may inhale it as I have. One thing for sure, you will enjoy it!
