“Look here.” Perc shouted out. He was stooped over and trying to uncover something. “What is it?” “Looks like a letter or something.” Larry said looking at it cocking his head. “Its a cross, stupid.” Jen corrected. “I guess that makes it a Church.” Tom commented not to concerned. They stood a moment taking in the new information. “I hope we’re not near an old graveyard again.” Larry added. Matt Became worried about the time. “C’mon guys,” he urged. “There’s nothing to see here. Lets get going.” A couple shot glances to one another but they had taken in all there was to see and filed back to the road. They formed up back at the road adjusting their packs. “So what do you think that was?” Larry shot to Tom. “Church like the lady said.” He answered. “I wonder if they knocked it down when they knock all the old building down, during the purge?” Asked Perc. “I hear these places have ghosts around them, spirits of the dead.” Warned Perc. “Don’t tell me you believe all of that?” Asked Matt. “I don’t not.” Jen admitted. “Can tell your mom’s a school teacher.” Tom joked nudging her. Matt could hardly believe his ears. We’re about to go to an old abandoned house and, will probably stay the night, and now they tell me they are afraid of ghosts, he thought. “With so many people dying, and not knowing why, I wouldn’t doubt if there are a whole lot of ghosts around here.” She continued. “My mother would tell me that they used to see lights down at the places where the building still stood. That’s why they had the purge and tore all of them down around here. And other places.” She added.
