Flowers bloom along natures flow.
I am Bird of Paradise towering over all.
My colorful beak opens for full expression.
I am free and the symbol of
truth spoken boldly yet subtlety.
Wild flowers with bold colors
stand out.
I hold captive
the attention
of some
with eyes
but no sight.
I remain hidden.
I will not bend or
be swayed by a
gentle breeze nor
forcefully moving speed.
Sometimes my friend Sunflower
stands by me commanding attention
wishing she could be as unique as me.
Never the less smiling looking tall and happy
just as a thousand others flowers
that are as beautiful but not as unique as me.
I am sequins and sparkle like glitter I shine.
I am elegant and can be flashy.
I stand out and light up both just the same.
I am glitter and sparkle when everything
Is dimly lit.
A vision from the distance that is me.
I am the sparkle and glitter of life with the
brightest shine.
I have been tested by the tough tugs of life like
sequin my soul has shedded some of my shine.
Lost some glitter from my shine but I still sparkle.
and still my happy appears brighter.
Twinkling, dancing through what was once
rough still shining brightly just the same.
I shine and light up spaces that are dark.
I am sequins and sparkle shining bright like
the gleam in your eye.
Lone spirit although there are three
came to you know as only one.
Always humble and kind
defined by what you are inside.
Your dedication is incredible
All you touch will be graced
by your inner vision and quick
decisions.
No time to ponder
when you are honored
for all your desire
within will be lovingly
inspired.
Shedding cold chill
of shivering winter’s
breeze.
Seek to usher
the awaiting bloom alas.
Fresh new flowers
seeking to be born.
Seasons allowing
possibility
to unfold.
Sway in the welcome
mat awakening the
season the
grass will appear.
Spring will arrive
old things
dissipates.
Freshness of changing
seasons renews
spirit with
abounding
anticipation

About the Book
I wrote these poems from my soul to help someone on the journey they may be walking. Life is like shiny sequins sometimes flashy most times you lose some pieces. Like the fabric when you rub the pattern of sequin in one direction against the grain it may be rough in the other direction it will be smooth; such is my metaphor for my life. Like the fabric of life in spite of a few tugs that leave a space or two without sequins. I still maintain and shine just the same. My life has been a purposeful journey to birth this book of poetry it’s a part of fulfilling my purpose to inspire through words. We all have an audience to reach and we have something to contribute to this world through our experiences. I grew up reading Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s books from the first to the last. The impact of his words were jewels that made my life challenges lessons for my spiritual growth. I hope these simple poems ordered from A to Z will reveal some positive revelations I found to help me on my journey through life. Just pick a problem and open the book to any poem you will have a new perspective on any situation; if you like just sit back and enjoy from beginning to end. Things will happen in life the most important thing to remember is you are love, remain whole and keep shining your light. Therefore, I present poetry from my spirit entitled Sequin Soul.
