Hello, Rescue Team?” answered Sarah. “OK Farmer Dave, we’re on our way. Dan, there’s a fire in the bush at the back of Farmer Dave’s farm!” “Looks like you’ll get to try out that monsoon bucket sooner than we thought Whirly” said Dan. “OK everyone, time for action!” Dan hurried to put on his Fireman’s clothing, then he called out to the team. “Lights on, sirens on…” “Make way for the Rescue Team!” chorused the vehicles loudly. With lights flashing and sirens blaring Dan and the Rescue Team raced off to Farmer Dave’s Farm. Fizz lowered himself into the sea and started his engines with a roar. Whirly’s rotor blades started spinning. The huge roof above him opened wide and he flew up and out of the Rescue Base towards the sea.

Inspired by her 3 young children and their love of Rescue Vehicles, Rachelle has written this wonderful tale of Heros who save the day. Rachelle is a New Zealander living in a picturesque New Zealand town similar to the Book's setting of Greenstone Bay. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her children and writing stories to capture their imaginations and to help them to believe that anything is possible.
