Kevin Carroll is a native of San Francisco, California. He is a graduate of Saint Ignatius College Preparatory, Santa Clara University (B.A. - English/Writing), and the University of San Francisco (M.A. - Education). Following a forty-year career in teaching and pastoral ministry, Kevin is now launching a new career as a writer.
Kevin has been blogging on the topic of gratitude since December 2006. His blog, “Attitude of Gratitude,” currently contains more than 1,500 posts about the people, experiences, opportunities, challenges, and gifts with which he has been blessed throughout his lifetime.
Currently living in San José, California, Kevin and his wife, Kathy, have three sons and two grandchildren. He is an avid reader and is tremendously grateful for the positive influence of the writings of Paulo Coelho, Roland Merullo, Hal Urban, Janice Kaplan, John Wooden, Jim Martin, S.J., and many other excellent authors. Through his own writing, he hopes to inspire others to embrace an attitude of gratitude in their own lives and to express their gratitude more freely and frequently.
