I found this poem I wrote in one of my many journals. I find it to be one of my favorites till this day. This poem is titled, Tempted. Tempted I'm falling for you so hard The walls are crashing down like waves I stand with a lost stare My doubts begin to settle Yet the heart wants what the heart wants A foolish pride broken A broken arrow in the wind Leads to nowhere but a broken heart Yet I want nothing more than to be brokenhearted My life is surrounded by the inevitable The gods know what I'm talking about For the gods are against me I'm wide awake on every point of the spectrum Temptation has many colors The heart, the soul, the mind, and the brain Fills the void in between the lines I see your eyes within the clouds The clouds that are dirty For temptation is dirty as well As well as the law will allow. To see the light So bright at night Just hold me tight It feels so right.
