About the Book

Globally known photojournalist Kaia Larsen has lived in worlds of film sets, still photography, fast cars, and Egyptian Arabian horses. Both participant and observer, she is Alice in Wonderland with a camera, Superhero Sister, Robin Hood’s cousin, James Bond’s daughter and sometimes Barb-ee. Abandon as an infant and later raised in a life woven from privilege, hard work, and play. Kaia embraced each experience with joy and openness. She describes every moment as another ingredient in the cosmic chocolate chip cookie of her life: the groundwork for her discovery of who she is, her spiritual path, and her place in the interconnected universe of humans and non-humans alike. Her adventures have been extraordinary - raising and showing classic purebred Egyptian Arabian horses, participating in Egypt’s renaissance of the breed, taking tea with princess, diving with sharks, and even transporting nuclear warheads across the country - all while capturing hundreds of thousands of photographs, many published worldwide. In Superhero Sister, Kaia shares how she learned to manifest and teaches readers how to do the same. Though story, imagery, and humor, she invites us to savor the moments, embrace self-love, and weave our own experiences into the unique cosmic cookie that defines who we are. A joyous blend of memoir, spiritual insight, and adventure, Superhero Sister is a celebration of love, growth, and life itself - whether on horseback at the edge of sea or in the simple, unconditional affection of cocker spaniels and chihuahuas. Superhero Sister - Ambassador of Love and Peace.
