About the Book
You don’t need another method. What you seek has never been outside of you. This is not a book about becoming someone else. It is a call to remember what you already are and have always been. These pages are not the answer. They are a mirror. And in that reflection, you will find yourself again: unstoppable, whole, and free. Open, and remember.
About the Author
Nalan, affectionately known as ‘Nigh’, a nickname gifted by her brother in childhood, was born in 1968 in Burns Lake, a small northern town in British Columbia, Canada. The daughter of Turkish immigrants who arrived in Canada in 1966, she grew up in the close-knit community of Port Hardy after living in Fraser Lake. Notably, Nalan and her family were the only Muslims in Port Hardy, and she was the only Muslim girl in the town, an experience that shaped her unique perspective on identity, belonging, and resilience.
From an early age, Nalan’s life was marked by both resilience and spiritual seeking. She began her studies in sports psychology in Nanaimo, BC, before life called her into a deeper path. Moving to Vancouver to care for her mother during her final days in hospital, Nalan’s world shifted dramatically. Shortly thereafter, she was struck by two drunk drivers while walking as a pedestrian in the middle of the afternoon on 41st and Victoria, a busy street in Vancouver. The accident broke nearly every bone in her body and required her to relearn how to walk.
Her path included two deeply challenging marriages to narcissistic and psychologically abusive partners. From her second marriage came her three beloved children, who became the centre of her life and the foundation of her devotion. She parented them on her own for over 16 years, walking the path of single motherhood with strength, humour, and grace. Her three children became her greatest teachers, showing her the sacred art of loving fiercely while honouring their sovereign becoming.
Her personal journey of growth, self-discovery, and soul alignment led her to obtain certifications as a life coach, master coach, transformational coach, and health coach. Yet it was discovering the MAP Coaching Methodology™, created by Colette Streicher, that catalyzed the greatest shift.
Nalan has spent the last five years working as a breakthrough expert, group coach, and one-on-one practitioner with the MAP Coaching Institute™. Alongside her work in the Institute, she supports clients worldwide through her own private practice, In the Nigh Zone. Her sessions blend the MAP modality with her natural gifts of clairvoyance and clairsentience, receiving insights through vision, bodily sensation, and harmonic resonance tones uniquely attuned to the client’s soul.
Now based in the mountains of Türkiye, she lives in conscious simplicity, surrounded by cedar, nature, and the unconditional love of her fur companions. Nalan believes in keeping life beautifully simple, joyfully playful, and spiritually present. Her philosophy is rooted in neutrality, non-attachment, and sacred now-ness. With each breath, she invites those she serves to remember who and what they truly are and to meet the divine joy that arises in the presence of being.
