My hope with this book is that those reading it will realize that they too are surrounded by angels and by their loved ones. The walk in the Berkshires also opened my eyes to photography in a new and wonderful way. I hope my photos will inspire you, my readers, to examine your own photographs for beautiful flashes of light: these are your loved ones and your guardian angels. Whenever I am asked about my photos, I always maintain that we are never alone - our loved ones and guardian angels are close at hand. Their images, whether as pale circles, flashes of colorful light, or certain facial expressions in the clouds, remind us that those in the spirit realm want to connect with us.

About the Book
Author Lori Szepelak had always believed in the afterlife and in angels. But where was the proof? Shortly after her mother’s death, it appeared unexpectedly, in a photograph she had taken while walking in the woods. There, in one photo, was an aura - and in it, the image of her mother smiling. About the Author
Lori Szepelak has worked in the newspaper field and in public relations for more than 35 years. She grew up in western Massachusetts and has since retired to Florida. She is the author of three books: An Angel on My Shoulder, Floors of the Forest, and Visits with Mom: A Journey Through Time and Beyond. In keeping with her personal faith, Lori donates a portion of the proceeds from each book sold to benefit charities that resonate with her heart.
