wrote this book for my son who was 2 years old at the time when his father and I separated. There were a lot of hurdles that came our way and through it all it inspired me to write this story to help explain that when parents no longer live together the love for a child is unconditional and that the child is very important to both parents despite their differences. Separation is hard. It is even harder for children who do not understand why mummy and daddy no longer live together. 'What did the tree do?' is an interactive book to help parents to compassionately tell their story.
