DAY 11 — PRAISE GOD BY DANCING 2 Samuel 6:14 Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. The scripture recounts how David danced unashamedly before the Lord. That was when He led Israel to bring the ark of the Lord into the capital city. He was glad that the presence of the Lord was being carried into the land of Israel; it was sight to behold! Dancing before the Lord is an act of worship. It is a sign of total submission to God for total victory in the face of trials. Today, I want you to praise God and dance so hard that those close to you will wonder if all your problems had disappeared overnight. Your dance is a declaration that someone more prominent is in control and is stepping into the situation with you. David ushered in God’s presence with a dance; you can too! As you dance today, you are stating that nothing can truly separate you from the love of God. AFFIRMATION I am dancing because I know the one whose presence I carry. I am grateful for His presence in my life. I put on my dancing shoes and I celebrate for all to see that victory is assured in God.

About the Author
Julia is a devoted daughter, sister, wife, friend, and Preacher. She is also a trained Lawyer, holds a bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Ibadan and a master's degree in financial management from Durham Business School in the United Kingdom. She worked as a regulatory consultant and business analyst in the U.K. and is currently pursuing an LLM Law at the University of California, Berkeley, U.S. This book is her little way of contributing to God's kingdom by encouraging Christians to praise God and move through the darkness and into the light.
