About the Book

Chanting, singing hymns, reciting mantras, or simply reading Sacred texts, and praying…all are found among many faiths and religious practices. These practices have always been tools for transcendence. Sing Angel Sing is no different.

Rita has chosen several beautiful Sanskrit mantras for parents and children alike to read aloud or sing together in order to enter into this Sacred space. By doing so, she believes that peace can be sustained on both personal and collective levels. Her vision is that we all join hands across cultures and faiths, to engage in acceptance and amity, and merge into this space of peace and rest in which we are cocooned in Love. 

There is no better time than now, to develop calming and grounding practices that help us remember--remember that Peace and Love are persistent and tenacious! Herein is a place where each of us might become more present to what is without becoming crushed by the sometimes harsh realities that can accompany the present. This is the invitation in Sing Angel Sing!

About the Author

The author, Rita Patel, is a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She loves to spend time with her family and also enjoys time in nature.

Even though she has grown up in England, her (Hindu) beliefs and faith have always stayed true to her heart. This gave her the inspiration to write this book solely divinely guided 😇😇😇

Rita also has a strong passion for moonology, the study of how the moon affects our lives; and recently qualified as a Certified Moonologist.
