About the Author
Linda is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 20 years of experience, and has earned her post diploma designation in Special Needs/ Early Childhood Resource Consultant. She has worked in child care and school board settings with children from birth to school age (12) with varying abilities. Linda has participated in many workshops and training over the years, and continues to participate in professional development. Her passion for educating and supporting children and their families, especially in their early years, was the driving force to create this book. She has had many years of experience supporting children with exceptionalities, and is dedicated to helping children and families evolve and grow- thus, influencing the creation of I Am Unique. Her vision is to have children develop compassion for others, confidence in themselves, and to support the social emotional development of children in their early years. Her stories enlighten and bring awareness to the development of young children. Truly the epitome of an Early Childhood Educator- supporting children, families, caregivers and educators along the way.
