Chapter 1 Joy and Maintenance
Joy. Joy, dear one, is in the heart. Joy radiates within all and is only found in the heart, and the heart is the soul of the matter. Think for a minute: Has your brain brought you joy in thinking thoughts? Not really. More so, however, your heart has always brought feelings of joy and bliss again and again over your lifetime. Picture, if you will, your heart as a pink box of love tied with a red satin ribbon, which feels so soft. Grasp the lid of the box. Lift it off slowly while anticipating what awaits inside the box. As the box lid is taken off, beams of white light radiate outward from the box’s opening until the lid is completely opened to reveal a blindingly bright white light. Wow! Your heart leaps with joy; your blood quickens; you gasp at the sight, but feel the warmth upon your face. How soothing it is; how blissful you feel. And all from a blinding white light within a small pink box.
Now, if you will, take a moment and visualize this pink box lying beneath your chest, replicating your heart, actually being your heart, holding its magnificent treasure of white light. This, this is the greatest treasure we behold—the treasure of love. Love is the warm light we all want to bathe in, and although this doesn’t occur often, when it does, how radiant we become and feel, not only to ourselves but also to each other. This warm feeling of bliss is actually the truth we are now coming home to again.
The more we become one with our personal pink boxes, the stronger the resonance with us. The more we resonate, the stronger the bond becomes between our worldly earthly selves and our spiritual true selves. Let’s repeat that again: the stronger the resonance within us, the stronger the bond between our earthly selves and our spiritual true selves, until with practice our worldly earthly selves slowly shed to reveal the emergence of our true spiritual identity with unfounded connections to our actual pure spiritual-bodied selves.
Dear ones
Our existence is not purely what we see; it is what we behold deep within. These are the true play grounds which we delight to revel within. (The Great White Brotherhood)
Finding one’s playground is simple. Maintaining the playground takes more effort. Like any playground, it begins with development and implementation.
One begins to develop and prepare the land with proper tools and then begins to introduce new and varied components till the playground is complete.
Your playground is of your own making; the level of completeness and beauty of it is dictated by the amount of time and effort you invest. It is a continuous work in progress, ever changing as you are ever evolving.
You may like to complete the exercise below to explore the love and warmth your pink box holds for you. Begin by sitting in a comfortable chair, feet firmly on the floor.
1. Say a small prayer to your higher power (God, the Source, the Universe, Father Sky, Mother Earth, etc.). Ask that you remain open to this experience and are able to receive messages of love.
2. Breathe, breathe, breathe. Close your eyes, inhale through your nose, hold to the count of three, and exhale through your mouth. Repeat three times or more till you feel calm and quiet inside.
3. Visualize yourself in a canoe. As you begin to paddle, travel downward into your throat. Continue down and level your canoe at the top of your chest. Paddle over to where your heart should lie. Here is where you will find a pink box tied in red ribbon. Now stop paddling, put the oars in the canoe, and rest.
4. Notice the pink box. Study the box. How does it feel? What do you suppose is in the box? Note how you feel; don’t worry about the feeling you are having. Don’t think—don’t think—just feel.
Now slowly untie the red satin ribbon and grasp the box lid. Then begin to lift the box lid off. Feel the ease with which the box lid lifts off as the pressure from the box contents pushes the lid off. Small streams of light rays escape, piercing outward from the box.
Take a moment.
Feel the warmth of the light. Bathe it in, breathe it in, and play in it. See how it extends outward and envelopes all the space in its path with radiant light as it stretches from the box.
This is your playground of love and light. Love and light that you can share with others and more so with yourself—again, with yourself. So climb in; it’s open twenty-four seven, 365 days a year, just to show us love as we begin to truly love ourselves. When you are ready to leave, know that you may reopen your pink love box to show love to yourself, everyone and anyone all the time.
As you return to the moment, open your eyes and feel loved, refreshed, and rejuvenated. With a little practice you will feel a blissful change within your very being. Peace and love to you and all whom your lights of love shine upon.
Yes we say; yes, we welcome you home again to where all light beings originated. We invite you to shed, shed your bodies and view each other in our true light bodies of Love and Bliss. (The Great White Brotherhood[1])
